About Us

Introducing Your Hosts

Your hosts Ann & Wayne welcome you to Annie's on Milford.

Ann and Wayne were both born and raised Southlanders and had lived and worked in Invercargill their whole lives. Ann has worked in administration, and Wayne has worked in rural transport.

"Our priority has always been our family, along with a passion for horse racing and rugby. We have two daughters who have grown up and headed out into the world.

"It has always been our wish to live in Te Anau, and in 2018, we decided to make the move. We began the project of designing and building Annie's on Milford. After some twists and turns, we opened in early 2021 and are enjoying sharing our slice of Fiordland with our guests."

Comfortable & Spacious

When designing Annie's, we strived to offer the best experience to our guests. We considered the most important things we look for when travelling and included them in our vision. Providing comfortable, modern surroundings with ample space to relax, indoors and out, was at the top of our list.

Personal & Helpful

Your hosts are on hand to ensure that your stay at Annie's is everything you expect. We want to ensure that you enjoy your time in Te Anau and the greater Fiordland area and are here to offer guidance and advice should you require it. If you need anything prior to arrival, let us know, and we will do our best to arrange it for you. From booking tours to dinner reservations to hiring equipment to answering any other questions you may have, we are locals and are here to help!

Quiet & Private

We also wish to provide our guests with the ability to relax in private, quiet surroundings, with the added benefit of staying in a small, exclusive accommodation complex.

Eating, Drinking & Shopping

Annie's on Milford is just 1.1 kilometres from the Te Anau town centre, which is only a 5-7 minute walk or a short drive away. There is a good variety of restaurants, bars, and shops for all your supplies while exploring Fiordland.
